Risk information like extreme weather, financial changes, or health conditions often remain abstract and vague to the general public, not only since probabilities and randomness are notoriously hard to grasp. This project investigates how we can use IT-based systems to make risk information more tangible and transparent. By studying how personal experience shapes risk perception, we aim to create smart and adaptive digital communication tools that help people make better informed decisions in everyday life.
